Job description

Under the responsibility of the R&D Country Group Manager, the Project Manager will be managing R&D projects as well as develop new products. The R&D Project Manager is linked to certain Sales responsible and therefore to their customers. The R&D Project Manager will be translating customer requirement into projects and new products. Further tasks and responsibilites will include:

- Managing new product development projects from the theoretical recipe over the lab prototype to the industrial product for internal and external clients. Conduct full project follow-up and completion of necessary project documents including recipe creation. Work together and lead the R&D Technician, who will help produce lab samples and move projects forward
- Providing necessary technical support to vendors, customers and operations when problems occur with products
- Participating in customers visits
- Participating actively in the various projects of the Research and Development team and have close interaction with Sales, Operations and Quality Assurance
- Assuring development of internal and external customers relations and maintaining communication
- Providing technical support to existing and new customers, and create new market opportunities.
- Advising the sales team on technical and application matters
- Advising and assisting all departments as needed on any technical issues relating to the manufacturing of chocolate products.
